During the 2017 season, we enjoyed a plethora of innovative designs, textures, fabrics, shapes, prints, color combinations, fabrics and adornments. We narrowed it down to eight incredible on-court looks and asked you to vote for your favorite.
And, with over 40% of the votes, Maria Sharapova’s elegant US Open ensemble was overwhelmingly voted your 2017 WTA Fashion Favorite.

“Maria Sharapova brought haute couture to the US Open courts with lace and Swarovski crystals of her black outfit designed to relive the moment the Russian lifted the prestigious trophy in 2006 wearing an iconic black style inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s elegance and her classic Givenchy dress. Created in Nike’s cooperation with Italian designer Riccardo Tisci, the former Givenchy creative director, Sharapova’s 2017 New York look will stick in our memory as one of the most outstanding and glamorous tennis outfits ever.”
