No one in Jerwin Ancajas’ weight class can beat him, analyst says

World boxing champion Jerwin Ancajas should consider fighting another British fighter after making himself known in the United Kingdom via a dominant performance against Jamie Conlan of Northern Ireland over the weekend.

Fight analyst Dennis Principe said that, since Ancajas’ brand of boxing is very well appreciated there, he should consider seeking a title unification against British-born Yemeni Khalid Yafai.

“He's on the right track,” Principe said of Ancajas’ successful IBF junior bantamweight title defense against Conlan in Belfast.

“It's a good start if he's thinking of creating a career wherein his stardom magsisimula sa British market. His style is fit sa crowd na iyan.”

Ancajas, known for his technical style of fighting, took Conlan apart in 6 rounds. During their exchange in the first round, the Panabo City native was able to connect a short stab to the body that felled the Irishman.
