UAAP 80 logo draws mixed reactions
MANILA, Philippines — No, it's not a case of finding the hidden Mickey.
Months before the collegiate wars fire off, host school Far Eastern University unveiled the league's logo for the 80th season.
The logo features the UAAP emblem in silver with the number 80 placed in the back bearing the school's primary colors, green and gold.
The new logo drew mixed reactions from netizens, who pointed out the similarities of the logo with the head of cartoon character Mickey Mouse.
The move is a departure from the logo used since Season 74 in which the UAAP text is patterned to the host school's colors with a semi-circle and three stars.
