No NCAA basketball games on Friday due to 'Gorio'

The NCAA has decided to reschedule basketball games supposed to be played on Friday, citing continuous rains caused by severe tropical storm “Gorio.”

“Due to bad weather and suspension of classes, and for the welfare of students and supporters, the NCAA games for July 28 are cancelled,” league chairman Father Glynn Ortega said in a statement.

The games affected by the decision are: Emilio Aguinaldo College vs. Perpetual Help, Lyceum vs. Mapua, and College of St. Benilde vs. Arellano University.

The NCAA also postponed its games on Thursday.
