MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines hopes to keep the momentum of its straight-set romp over Hong Kong as it faces a higher-ranked Kazakhstan today, looking for an outright quarterfinals entry in the 2017 Asian Women’s Senior Volleyball Championship at the Alonte Gym in Binan, Laguna.
The Nationals disposed of the Hong Kong side, 25-21, 25-16, 25-17, last Wednesday night and could advance to the playoff with another victory against the Kazakhs in their 5 p.m. duel in Pool A.
