With its morale high, Alab favored to top lowly Indonesian club

Alab (4-4) tries to go above.-500 for the first time in the ASEAN Basketball League when it flies to Indonesia to take on CLS Knights in Surabaya on Saturday.

Tipoff is at 7 p.m.

The Filipino club got a much-needed morale boost when it downed top-3 team Mono Vampire Basketball Club of Thailand (7-4) in emphatic fashion 114-87 in Bangkok on Sunday.

Justin Brownlee led the way for Alab with 29 points, 24 in the second half, to go along with 8 rebounds and 9 assists.
