GlobalPort expects rough sailing vs the 'Kraken', SMB
GlobalPort will face its toughest test yet on Wednesday when it takes on defending champion San Miguel Beer at the Araneta Coliseum in the PBA Philippine Cup.
Despite playing without its prized scorer Terrence Romeo, the Batang Pier managed to pull off back-to-back wins prior their 7 p.m. encounter with the Beermen.
San Miguel is the remaining unbeaten team with 4 wins through the first 5 weeks of the tournament.
GlobalPort coach Pido Jarencio is hoping they will be able to pull off a surprise against the fancied San Miguel.
Jarencio will again rely on Sean Anthony and Stanley Pringle, who have been the biggest factors in their previous victories.
Pringle, however, will have to go up against San Miguel's Chris Ross and Alex Cabagnot. Anthony, meanwhile, will have to battle Arwind Santos.
