Elbow injury to keep Myles Turner out of Pacers' next 2 games
INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner will miss the next two games with an injured right elbow.
Turner was initially hurt on a dunk during Monday's 109-96 victory over Milwaukee but finished the game.
Team officials announced Wednesday that he was still being evaluated.
Domantas Sabonis is expected to replace Turner in the lineup Wednesday night against Miami, which also will be playing short-handed after James Johnson was suspended by the NBA for throwing punches during Tuesday's victory at Toronto.
Turner is averaging 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds and is second in the NBA in blocks with 2.24 per game. He also will miss Friday's game against Cleveland.
Johnson is averaging 10.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
