Dillinger sums up Ginebra-Meralco hype in one barangay-baiting tweet
MANILA -- The moment the final buzzer sounded signalling the end of the Barangay Ginebra-TNT series on Sunday must have been music to Jared Dillinger's ears.
Ginebra was moving on to the Governors' Cup finals and Dillinger, whose Meralco had been waiting on the sidelines, can't wait to get a piece of the defending champions.
Dillinger is the Barangay's public enemy No. 1, an image the Bolts forward seems to wear like a badge.
He wasn't on Meralco's roster last year when his team fell 4-2 in the title series because of a hamstring injury, and since that loss a rematch with Ginebra couldn't come fast enough for him.
During that excruciatingly yearlong wait for a rematch, Dillinger has been engaged in a Twitter beef with just about every one of the "kabarangay."
