Renzo Navarro had 16 points built on five three-pointers, while Michael Calisaan had a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds. The win allowed the Stags to bounce back from a loss to rival San Beda College in their previous outing.

"I guess the boys really want to be (in the Final 4)," said San Sebastian coach Egay Macaraya. "Hopefully, everybody will step up para hindi kami masyadong mahirapan."

CSB, trying to build on its stunning upset of University of Perpetual Help in its previous game, kept itself within striking distance until the end of the third quarter, when they trailed by just nine points, 42-51.
