Kiefer, Jeron keep mum on PBA plans
MANILA, Philippines – Kiefer Ravena and Jeron Teng are keeping their cards close to their chests with regards to their plans of declaring for the 2017 PBA Rookie Draft.
While both former UAAP superstars will almost surely be taken in the top five should they throw in their names, neither amateur cager has yet to file his application to the PBA Office.
The deadline of application is on October 12, and Ravena does not seem to be in a hurry to make his decision with still three weeks to go.
"We'll see, tingnan natin," he said.
Teng, for his part, said the draft is not even at the forefront of his mind. "As of now, 'di ko pa iniisip ang PBA," he said.
Instead, both players are focusing on their upcoming stints in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup, where they are expected to lead the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas team.
