Ewan wins Tour of Britain third stage, reclaims lead
(Reuters) - Australian Caleb Ewan claimed his second victory in the opening three stages of the Tour of Britain to reclaim the overall lead on Tuesday.
The Orica Scott rider beat Norways’s Edvald Boasson Hagen by less than a wheel’s width in a sprint finish in Scunthorpe.
“Today was a tough day with the weather,” Ewan said after a ride through the flat terrain of Lincolnshire. “It wasn’t as straightforward as we might have expected.”
