American player calls Pilipinas team ‘sorriest team’ he’s ever played against

Justin Carter found himself at the center of a social-media maelstrom following a tweet in the aftermath of BC Astana Kazakhstan’s loss to Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas in the FIBA Asia Champions Cup in Chenzhou city on Friday night.

Naturally, Pilipinas fans didn’t take Carter’s comment lightly, making their feelings known by responding to his tweet.

Carter, an American player suiting up for the Kazakh club, finished with 10 points on 3-of-21 shooting from the field, so maybe if he shot the ball better his team would’ve done better, too.
