One more for Kiefer's SEA Games highlight reel

KUALA LUMPUR — The Philippines' performance against Indonesia in the gold-medal game of the 2017 Southeast Asian Games was so dominant, that an off night from one of the team's starting guards barely mattered.

Kiefer Ravena struggled mightily for most of the game on Saturday night, bricking even the easiest of layups. Even a bucket in transition during the third quarter looked as though it might roll out of the hoop before deciding to trickle in.

Later, when the game was won and the gold medal was safely theirs, Ravena insisted that his subpar performance was not an issue.

"Sa mga situations na ganito, hindi na importante kung maganda ang ilalaro mo or panget," he said. "Kaming lahat, 'di ba, ang picture naman namin ang nasa diyaryo lahat bukas eh, sa front page."

Yet there was no way that Ravena was leaving the MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur without adding at least one more play to his teeming SEA Games highlight reel.
