‘No guarantee yet’ if Glen Rice Jr will keep his spot in TNT
After a subpar performance in his PBA debut, Glen Rice Jr. came up with a much decent effort to help struggling TNT notch a 110-103 triumph over the Phoenix Fuel Masters in the Oppo PBA Governors’ Cup.
The NBA legend’s son finished with 38 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four blocks as the KaTropa nabbed their third win in five games.
But coach Nash Racela said there’s no assurance that Rice, despite the impressive outing, will be able to stay with the team for good.
Michael Craig, TNT’s original import, is on the reserve injury list and could be tapped if he’s ready.
“We have to look at the big picture. Michael Craig is still here and he’s in the injury reserve list. As for Glen Rice, he played a much better game than the first one, but there’s no guarantee yet if he’ll be able to keep his spot,” Racela told InterAksyon.
