Flying V 'back to square one' after elims sweep
MANILA, Philippines – Flying V has already forgotten about its impressive elimination round sweep in the 2017 PBA D-League Foundation Cup, as the Thunder now turn their attention to their semifinals assignment.
This, according to Flying V coach Eric Altamirano.
Ahead of Game 1 of their best-of-3 semifinals series against Centro Escolar University (CEU), Altamirano said the Thunder's 10-game sweep of the elimination round is a thing of the past.
"Back to square one na kami," Altamirano said Wednesday at the Podium in Ortigas. "Ang focus lang talaga namin is what's in front of us."
"We'll take it one game at a time, and we'll see from there," he added.
