UAAP releases men’s hoops first round sked
MANILA, Philippines — The UAAP on Tuesday bared the first round schedule of the UAAP 80 men's basketball tournament, barely a month after formally closing Season 79.
The cage wars will begin on September 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena with University of the East battling National University in the opening game.
Ateneo de Manila University will face last year's dark horse Adamson University to cap the opening day double-header.
University of Santo Tomas will go up against the University of the Philippines on September 10, while Far Eastern University and De La Salle University close the opening weekend games.
The Ateneo and La Salle match-up will be the last game in the first round on October 8 also at the MOA Arena in Pasay.
