Lassiter cold shooting defended by teammates
The 2017 PBA Commissioners Cup Finals is now deadlocked at one game each, turning the series into a best-of-five. So far, it seems that SMB gunner Marcio Lassiter has been struggling to find the hoop.
In Game 1, Lassiter just shot 30-percent of his field goals and doing even worse at 22-percent in Game2. He has yet to hit a three-point basket in the series.
Nonetheless, his SMB teammates know that he will recover and give them a good game before the series is over.
“Kami naman, lagi kami may tiwala kami sa isa’t-isa,” said Arwind Santos.
“Siguro yung kay Marcio, natural lang na may off-night ka. Pero naniniwala kami napuputok din iyan at baka next game, siya naman.”
SMB starting guard Chris Ross prefers to look at it differently.
