San Beda nears PCCL Final Four slot
NCAA champion San Beda inched closer to booking a ticket to the Philippine Collegiate Champions League Final Four with a masterful 85-46 win over Mindanaoan side Holy Trinity College Friday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Robert Bolick showed the way for the Red Lions, firing 13 points and five rebounds in the easy victory as they rose to 2-0 in Group B in the Elite 8.
Clint Doliguez chipped in 11 markers and five assists, while Javee Mocon and Radge Tongco both wound up with nine.
San Beda’s defense was at its finest once again, getting the job done early and limiting Holy Trinity to a measly 15-percent clip from the field in the first half to establish the dominating 42-13 halftime lead.
Ever Dialogo paced the General Santos-based Wildcats with 15 points and seven boards while Victor Poral had 10 markers, 10 rebounds, and six assists.
