What Norman Black expects out of backup playmaker Mike Tolomia
Norman Black said Meralco acquired Mike Tolomia from Rain Or Shine because his squad has big plans for the former FEU Tamaraw.
Tolomia was traded to the Bolts for Ed Daquioag in the 2016-17 midseason and served as backup to Baser Amer.
Black said Tolomia's offense is the reason Meralco got him.
"Mike is a big part of our team, that's why we got him because he can score," Black said in an article posted on the PBA website.
After seeing Tolomia's progress, Black said it’s time for him to take on a bigger role. "I plan on letting him loose and letting him play," he said. “He's really a combo guard as he can play both positions."
