Perpetual loses to Che'lu-San Sebastian in Frankie Lim's debut
MANILA, Philippines – Frankie Lim's coaching debut for the University of Perpetual Help Altas did not go as planned.
Che'Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian College overpowered the Altas, 83-70, in their PBA D-League Aspirants Cup showdown at the Pasig City Sports Center on Monday morning.
It was a disappointing result for the Altas, who were playing for the first time under the tutelage of multi-titled head coach Frankie Lim.
Michael Calisaan led the way for Che'Lu-San Sebastian, which is making its D-League debut. He fired a game-high 20 points while adding nine rebounds, two assists and two steals to help his team get off to a good start in the conference.
The Revellers turned the game around in the second half, as they outscored the Altas, 49-32, in the final two periods to overhaul a slim 38-34 halftime deficit.
