Michael Dasmarinas to fight for IBO title in April
Filipino boxer Michael Dasmarinas gets the biggest break of his career, as he goes for the IBO bantamweight title at Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 20.
Dasmarinas, promoted by Ringstar Boxing, will battle France's Karim Guerfi, currently ranked 4th by the WBC. The fight will be featured as the main event of "Roar of Singapore IV."
In his most recent outing, Dasmarinas, 25, knocked out Thailand's Phupha Por Nobnom in just 2 rounds on October 20.
“Ngayon po ay puspusan ang aking paghahanda. Tuloy-tuloy po ang ating ensayo dahil nais ko po makamit ang IBO world title na ito," the Camarines Sur native said.
A win for Dasmarinas will line him up for possible matches against some of the best bantamweights in the world.
