Justin Brownlee named 'World Import of the Week'

After stellar performances for Tanduay Alab Pilipinas, it was easy to pick Justin Brownlee as ASEAN Basketball League’s World Import of the Week.

Brownlee, a fan favorite in the Philippines due to his affiliation with Barangay Ginebra, averaged 23 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists while towing Alab to two straight victories.


He arrived with returning import Renaldo Balkman on January 3, powering the Philippine-based squad past the Westports Malaysia Dragons and the Singapore Slingers.

With Brownlee on its side, Alab now boasts of a 3-3 record.

Alab Pilipinas is set to return to action on Wednesday for a rematch against the Singapore Slingers.
