Gilas Pilipinas: Blessings continue to pour in for Bolick
MANILA, Philippines – Coming off a sensational 2017, San Beda College guard Robert Bolick opened the new year on a high note as he was one of the players included in Gilas Pilipinas coach Chot Reyes "23 for 23" wish list.
It is just the latest achievement for Bolick, who led the San Beda Red Lions to the NCAA Season 93 championship in remarkable fashion last year, while establishing himself as one of the best players in collegiate basketball.
"Blessed" was the only word that Bolick could use to describe his 2017.
"Pasalamat ako kay Lord dahil binigyan niya ako ng chance na maging healthy. Binigyan Niya 'ko ng biyaya na makapaglaro ng maayos," the Ormoc native said Monday after participating in the Gilas Pilipinas practice for the first time.
Blessings are still coming in for Bolick, starting with his inclusion to the "23 for 23" pool that firmly established his status as one of the best up-and-coming players in the country.
