De Jesus vows equal attention to F2 and La Salle
MANILA, Philippines — Ramil de Jesus vows to manage his time when he calls the shots for F2 Logistics in the Philippine Superliga Grand Prix and De La Salle University in Season 80 of the UAAP next month.
The prized mentor admitted that handling two jobs at the same time would be a major challenge, but he’s ready to do his best to come up with an impressive finish in both leagues.
De Jesus is looking for his 11th title with the Lady Spikers when the UAAP opens on February 4 while aiming to defend the prestigious Grand Prix crown with the Cargo Movers when the PSL fires off on February 23.
Six current La Salle players — Kim Dy, Majoy Baron, Tin Tiamzon, Desiree Cheng, CJ Saga and Dawn Macandili — are part of the F2 Logistics squad, but would not suit up due to UAAP.
With that, the Cargo Movers have no choice but to look for additional players who will compliment veterans Kim Fajardo, Aby Marano, Cha Cruz and imports Kennedy Bryan and Maria Jose Perez, the Most Valuable Player of the previous Grand Prix.
“The training of La Salle and F2 Logistics are being done at the same time so I think I can manage,” said the soft-spoken mentor.
