Revilla puts past behind with Phoenix win over former team Kia
ANTIPOLO — LA Revilla put his past behind with his former team Kia.
Revilla was traded to Phoenix in the offseason after the point guard blasted the Picanto on Twitter for the franchise’s head-scratching offseason moves.
“At least, it’s over,” a relieved Revilla said after the Fuel Masters ripped the Picanto, 125-102, Wednesday in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup at Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.
“I’m happy that it’s already off of my chest. It was a good experience, but there will still be a chance that we’ll meet because there are still two more conferences this season,” he added.
Facing Kia for the first time after the split, Revilla had an all-around game with six points, two rebounds, five assists and five steals in 22 minutes.
