Haridas runner-up in Hong Kong chess c’ship

Filipino Grandmaster-elect and International Master Haridas Pascua ended the season with a bang as he finished second overall in the Jolimark International Open Chess Championship, also known as the Hong Kong International Open, at Kung Lee College on Wednesday.

Pascua scored crucial draws in the last three rounds to wrap up his campaign with 7.0 points on five wins and four draws.

GM Karen Grigoryan of Armenia ruled the event.
