No retirement yet for Danny Seigle, as he talks with TNT about PBA future

MANILA -- Danny Seigle isn't ruling out continuing to play in the PBA, saying he and TNT are discussing his future with the team.

Seigle, who turned 41 in June, was hired as team consultant for Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL), a move that got people thinking he was done with his playing career.

But he said everything's up in the air.

"My focus right now is on Alab. I'm still talking to Talk N Text. Maybe after I'm finished here, I'll evaluate after that. Let's see what's going on. It's a long ways to go," Seigle said Sunday night after Alab's 92-89 loss to Hong Kong Eastern.

ABS-CBN News reached out to TNT to get its side on Seigle's status, but at the time this story was posted team management did not respond to a text message seeking comment.
