FEU's Parker plays his best game yet in front of visiting family

MANILA, Philippines – Far Eastern University's (FEU) Jasper Parker had plenty of extra motivation on Sunday when they played University of the East (UE) in a crucial UAAP Season 80 game at the Big Dome.

This is because for the first time in his UAAP career, his family was able to watch him play. Parker's father arrived from California last Friday, with the rest of the family following suit on Saturday.

"I have to say I had a lot of inspiration today with my family here," said Parker. "In Cebu, they already watched me play for SWU (Southwestern University). But for the UAAP, yes, (this is the first time)."

Parker did not let his family down. In front of his parents and brothers, he put up 18 points and eight assists, while knocking down the dagger three-pointers that capped FEU's 79-63 victory over the Red Warriors. It was his best game in a Tamaraw uniform.

The win boosted FEU's hopes of making the Final Four, while also ousting UE from playoff contention.
