Alab Pilipinas welcomes Danny Seigle to coaching staff
MANILA, Philippines – Alab Pilipinas is not just beefing up its roster; it is also shoring up its coaching staff.
The team announced Tuesday the appointment of eight-time PBA champion and nine-time All-Star Danny Seigle as an assistant coach.
Seigle reunites with Alab coach Jimmy Alapag, who was his rival-turned-teammate in the PBA. They waged war against each other when Seigle was starring for the San Miguel Beermen while Alapag was in the Talk 'N Text franchise. They later became teammates in TNT.
Alab also added Mac Cuan to its coaching staff, as well as trainer Chappy Calanta.
Meanwhile, the team also announced that Jay R Alabanza is joining the squad.
