PVL goes on tour in Tuguegarao
MANILA, Philippines – The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) will go on tour as it holds two exhibition games at the People's Gym in Tuguegarao on October 7.
Three-time PVL champion Pocari Sweat will play Creamline at 5:30 p.m., while San Sebastian College clashes with Banko-Perlas in the curtain-raiser at 3:30 p.m.
It marks the first time that the PVL will hold games outside the National Capital Region, with help from the Beach Volleyball Republic.
"We just want to go straight to our fans from the provinces, and show appreciation to them for supporting the PVL through the years," said Ricky Palou of organizers Sports Vision.
The PVL plans to hold more games in Bacolod City on October 17, and Iloilo on October 18.
