Fast-starting Blackwater deals Kia 8th straight loss in Governors' Cup
Henry Walker scored 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, and JP Erram added 16 and 14 as Blackwater drowns Kia 118-97 in the PBA Governors' Cup at Ynares Center in Antipolo on Friday.
It didn't take long for Blackwater (3-3) to bust the game open.
Behind a combined 17 points by Mike Digregorio and Roi Sumang, Blackwater went on a 30-8 run in the first quarter to go up big.
In the second, the Elite limited Kia to only two field goals in the initial 11 minutes to take a 70-31 lead at halftime.
Blackwater's biggest lead was 86-37, after a basket by Raphael Banal.
