Vasyl Lomachenko offers to spar with McGregor
Former world champion boxer Paulie Malignaggi bolted Conor McGregor’s training camp following a contentious working relationship with the mixed martial arts champion.
But another world titleholder has offered his services as McGregor’s sparmate ahead of his bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on August 26.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist and current world super-featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko has hinted that he wants to spar with McGregor, who hasn’t fought a single round of professional boxing.
Lomachenko made the offer via Twitter, following a 7-round beatdown of challenger Miguel Marriga over the weekend.
