Suzuki makes quick work of PH’s Pacio
MACAU—Hayato Suzuki derailed Joshua Pacio’s title aspirations after scoring a quick victory in their strawweight clash in ONE Championship: Kings & Conquerors Saturday at Cotai Arena here.
The Japanese is still undefeated and improved to 17-0-2 while Pacio slipped to 9-2 and his second loss in three fights.
Suzuki had early control of the match and eventually slapped a rear-naked choke on Pacio as the Filipino tapped out 3:17 into the first round.
