June Mar Fajardo injury adds to Gilas' FIBA Asia Cup woes
As if it needed more adversity ahead of its FIBA Asia Cup campaign, Gilas Pilipinas will likely miss the services of 3-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo because of injury.
Fajardo suffered a strained calf muscle in San Miguel's game against TNT on Wednesday.
Multiple reports placed Fajardo as "doubtful" although chances are he won't be seeing action in Beirut, Lebanon, to make sure his injury isn't aggravated.
Gilas head coach Chot Reyes took to Twitter to rally his team.
