Juan Manuel Marquez celebrates retirement with "Pacquiao KO" cake
For Juan Manuel Marquez, revenge is best served sweet and with icing.
The Mexican former world champion announced over the weekend that he was hanging up his gloves.
Since Marquez is best remembered for his knockout victory over Manny Pacquiao in 2012, a cake depicting that win was presented during what appears to be a retirement event for Marquez.
Marquez hadn't defeated Pacquiao in 3 fights prior to that December 8, 2012 bout.
Marquez's career declined steeply afterward on account of injuries. He fought only twice more since downing Pacquiao, with Marquez's last fight happening in May 2014.
