Jared Dillinger on Ginebra fans, 'When they boo you, it's fun'
Jared Dillinger isn't just OK being branded as Barangay Ginebra's public enemy No. 1; he seems to savor the reputation.
The Meralco forward spoke with Eric Menk in a podcast Menk released on Friday, where Dillinger expounded on his ongoing quest to rile up the most rabid sports fan base in the country.
"It's the best. When they boo you, it's fun. It's partially why I keep talking every now and then," Dillinger said.
Dillinger vs. Ginebra can be traced back to last year's PBA Governors' Cup when Ginebra beat Meralco 4-2 in the finals to win the championship.
His frustration escalated in June, when after TNT ousted Meralco in the Commissioner's Cup he tweeted this:
"It wasn't even that big, it just kind of blew out of proportion a little bit," Dillinger told Menk.
