Import Fuller wants to take NLEX to PBA semis
MANILA -- After helping out the NLEX Road Warriors to reach the quarterfinals for the first time this PBA season, import Aaron Fuller is determined to bring the team to the semis.
The Road Warriors were able to book themselves a trip to the PBA Governors’ Cup quarterfinals by edging the fancied San Miguel Beermen last Sunday, 103-100.
In that game, Fuller powered NLEX with 26 points and 22 rebounds to go with his two steals and two blocks.
“It was an uphill battle. I was proud of the guys who played well the whole 48 minutes,” he told the PBA website following the victory.
“Now that we made the quarterfinals, we’ll try to make the top 4.”
