Brief greeting from Thailand's Nootsara a boost to Jia Morado
MANILA, Philippines – Known for being cool, calm, and collected inside the court, former Ateneo de Manila University setter Jia Morado could not help but turn into a "fan girl" after Alyssa Valdez gifted her with a video greeting from her idol.
A video posted on Morado's social media accounts on Tuesday showed celebrated Thai setter Nootsara Tomkom greeting her briefly, saying: "Hi, Jia!"
"I'm trying to stay calm, but OMG you said my name," Morado posted on her Instagram page, where she also thanked Valdez for the video.
After leading Creamline to a third-place finish in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference, Morado gushed about her idol anew.
"Oh my god, two words lang, pero ngayon lang ako nag-fan girl ng ganoon," said Morado.
