Sources: Andre Iguodala returning to Warriors on 3-year, $48M deal

Free-agent forward Andre Iguodala is returning to the Golden State Warriors on a three-year, $48 million deal, sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes and Adrian Wojnarowski.

Iguodala, 33, posted a tweet Saturday night that seemed to confirm the agreement. Sources say he was also mulling offers from the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs and Sacramento Kings.

Andre Iguodala will remain a Warrior.
It is believed that the Warriors upped their initial offer by a couple of million and relinquished tagging a partial guarantee onto the third year of the deal.

The 2015 NBA Finals MVP, Iguodala has been a terrific two-way player since he was acquired by the Warriors via trade in 2013.

Despite just one start over the past three seasons, he has posted averages of 7.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 26.6 minutes. The 6-foot-6 swingman was a finalist for NBA Sixth Man of the Year last season.

On Saturday, the first day of the free-agency period, Iguodala met with San Antonio, Sacramento, Houston and the Los Angeles Lakers. He canceled a meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Iguodala holds career averages of 13.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game since he broke into the league as the ninth overall pick by the 76ers in the 2004 draft.

Golden State has already agreed to deals with Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston and David West. According to ESPN's Bobby Marks, the Warriors now have $130 million in guaranteed contracts that include the three-year Iguodala deal and a $31.8 million projected salary for Kevin Durant. If the Warriors fill out their roster with minimum contracts, their total salaries will be $137.5 million with a luxury tax bill of $40.2 million.
