It’s Kia Picanto this time in PBA
For the fifth time since it entered the pro league in 2014, the Columbian Autocar Corporation-owned franchise which has undergone five name changes is set to be known as the Kia Picanto this time.
Interim head coach Chris Gavina is hoping that could also bring some changes – at least positively – in terms of their fortunes in the season-ending PBA Governors Cup that starts today at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
“I’m always a true believer of fresh starts,” he said in a phone interview on the eve of the Picantos’ opening day duel against the Phoenix Fuel Masters.
