Game suffers delay as Altas wore wrong uniforms
MANILA - The NCAA men’s basketball game between Perpetual Help and College of St. Benilde suffered a delay after the Altas brought the wrong set of uniforms on Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.
Members of Perpetual Help wore their maroon jerseys instead of their light colored uniforms. This caused confusion as the Blazers were scheduled to wear their green jerseys.
Because of this, the game was delayed for over 40 minutes. Tip off was supposed to take place at 12 p.m.
The NCAA management committee, however, decided to push through with the match.
