Ravena expects dogfight in SEA Games

His phone rang and he answered the nation’s call. Kiefer Ravena will once again wear the Philippine colors in the Southeast Asian Games prior to even making a PBA debut.

With the opportunity, Ravena wishes to maximize the exposure to further enhance his skills.

Kiefer Ravena.
“Commitment-wise, syempre nandito ako and I have to make the most out of it and this opportunity,” said the “Phenom.” “What a way to do that than represent the country. This is another chance to help the team, help the country and win a medal at the SEA Games.”

The last time he represented the Philippines in the SEA Games, Ravena joined college rivals Mac Belo, Jio Jalalon and Kevin Ferrer. All are now in the PBA and doing very well for their respective teams.

For the last two years, Ravena watched from the sidelines as his teammates made noise in the PBA where he saw their improvements. He is excited him to play with them once again, willing to take a backseat and adjust.

“I’m very excited. Since the 2015 SEA Games, the skills were there already. I am more excited to be with them in a much more improved environment. Kung may mga chances na ako ang mas hahabol sa team, syempre ikaw dapat mag-adjust doon.”
