Parks has plans to join PBA Draft but focus remains with Gilas
With regards to his future in sport, Ray Parks is starting to think about finally joining the Philippine Basketball Association.
After seeing action for Alab Pilipinas in the Asean Basketball League, the 24-year-old Parks has the PBA on his radar with the annual Draft set to take place later this year, around October or November.
Joining the top pro league in the country seems like the most obvious next step for the decorated Parks, an MVP winner in both the UAAP and the ABL.
"Definitely open minded to the PBA. I'm keeping my options open," Ray told ABS-CBN Sports.
"It's just something that I have to discuss with my agent and we'll just go from there," he added.
While the PBA remains an option for Parks, making the Gilas Pilipinas pool again means that his focus and commitment right now remains with the national team.
