Boxing fan Mark Wahlberg thinks McGregor can beat Mayweather
Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg believes Conor McGregor has a shot at pulling of an upset against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on August 26.
Wahlberg is a huge boxing fan who followed the careers of many fighters, including our own Manny Pacquiao, revealed a way McGregor can beat the undefeated Mayweather.
He said that unlike Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, who lost to Mayweather via majority decision, McGregor could lay in a shot against the American boxer.
“Canelo never really went after Mayweather,” explained Wahlberg, while he was being interviewed about “Transformers: The Last Knight.”
“I don't think (Mayweather) has the power to knock out McGregor so I think Conor McGregor is going to be willing to get in there and take a couple of shots to get one.”
And since McGregor is bigger than Mayweather, Wahlberg said it would be interesting if the American boxer could take the shot.
